The Parsonage Inn - St. Michaels Maryland The Parsonage Inn Reservations
Plenty to Do in St. Michael's!

St. Michaels is a great destination due to its scenic harbor and the wealth of things to do and see in this area.  Even in the winter or off-seaon when it is too cold to go sailing, the Chesapeake Bay Martime Museum just two blocks from our inn features many indoor exhibits along with the lighthouse to explore and imagine life as a "light keeper" over a hundred years ago.  (See the Restaurant Guide and Local Attractions at StMichaelsBedandBreakfast.com)  During the warmer months from May through October, we featue sailing on the Skipjack "Rebecca T. Ruark" with the unforgetable Captain Wade Murphy out of Tilghman Island (11 miles from our inn) or here in St. Michaels a cruise up the Miles River on the Patriot , an air conditioned 65 foot boat with bar and snacks.

We have new 7 speed Raleigh bikes for our guests to explore St. Michaels or the wonderful waterfront vistas in the area or to journey to Oxford via the Bellevue ferry (7 miles from the inn).  We are right across the street from the new entrance to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum on Rt. 33 and about 2 blocks to the center of town.  A three mile loop from our inn takes you out through the golf course at Harbourtowne and then along the Miles River before turning your bike back towards our inn.

There are many fine restaurants and shops in St. Michaels, and we would be pleased to recommend one or more that would match up with your interests.  The highly regarded "208 Talbot" restaurant (Zagat rated and # 4 on TripAdvisor.com) is right next door or Key Lime Cafe rated # 2 on TripAdvisor.com is across the street . . . ask about our Special "Taste of St. Michaels" or "Gourmet Getaway" packages featuring these restaurants.  There are many delightful clothing shops, antique shops, art galleries and other stores in the central part of town . . starting one block from our inn.  Other activities in the area include fishing, golf, kayaking, horseback riding or a visit to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge (below Cambridge).  We also have a delightful Winery with a tour and tastings and a small micro-brewery in town at the Mill Complex.  You can click on the links listed to the left under "Local Attractions" to get more information.
